What’s the difference between OBS Cube X and the earlier OBS Cube?
At first glance, both the OBS Cube X and the earlier OBS Cube seem extremely similar. They look alike because they’re both made of stainless steel and shaped like an elongated cube. Design

Fresh from the box, the mod comes with a thin plastic film that you can keep on as a protective covering. But even without the film, the paint is scratch-resistant, so the mod still looks great after months of use.
Build
Like the original Cube, the Cube X is tall and cube-like. It’s small for a box mod, with dimensions at 88.5mm x 30.5 mm x 30.5 mm. Weighing around 120 g on its own, it has a solid, durable feel.
The rounded edges are a thoughtful touch. Crafted to fit well against the hand, the Cube X is comfortable to hold, and pressing any of the buttons is natural.

The OBS Cube X has a straightforward structure. Below we’ve broken down the main build features and elements.
Controls and Charging Port
One side contains the main controls: a larger firing button along with two small adjustment buttons and a micro-USB port below for charging. The adjustment buttons are for moving the wattage up or down, while the firing button will turn the mod on after five clicks. You don’t have to worry about accidentally pressing any of the buttons while holding the mod because the buttons take firm pressure to click without being inconvenient.
OLED Screen
On another side, you have the OLED screen for viewing settings. The 0.96” OLED screen shows standard settings like voltage, wattage, coil resistance, and voltage. It also displays your puff time along with a puff counter, although this resets to zero when you turn off your mod.
510 Connection

Adjustable Wattage

Each e-liquid also shines at a particular level of wattage, so it depends on your specific setup.
Interestingly, the wattage of the OBS Cube X auto-locks when you start vaping. To unlock it, press either of the adjustment buttons three times. You can lock the wattage again manually by pressing the fire button. To change the wattage, just press the up or down adjustment button.
OBS Cube X Battery
Unlike its predecessors, the OBS Cube X runs on a replaceable 18650 battery. This isn’t included in the mod, so you have to buy it separately. Since it’s an 18650 battery, it’s best suited for light or moderate vapers, as vaping for several hours in one go or using high power can drain it quickly.
The battery door is at the bottom of the OBS Cube X. It’s a standard battery door, so to open it, just pull back on the small knob attached to it.
